The Mask of ~*Sailor*~

Sailor says: Every day, I put on a mask- I hide myself in the uniform of a corporate drone, and hope nobody can peek beneath it to the naked, raw self, that is the real me.

Sometimes, though, some people do see- and then, I am most vulnerable; however, it's also then that I am the most alive.

  1. In my experience, that feeling is very transient. I hope yours is different.

  2. Which is transient, the feeling alive?

Lately, it's been constant; I am allowing myself to share completely with an incredible person, and truly I do come to life because of the trust, the risk.

I hope you find the alive feeling too, however it finds you-

  3. I'm glad to hear you've found it. Yes, the complete sharing can make you feel very much alive. Until it's turned against you at least. I sincerely hope your experience leaves that part out.

By the way, I forgot to say I love the concept in your photos. that's fantastic. And quite a job of editing too.

  5. Very cool visual concept to go with your thoughts. Also, I understand your thoughts. That feeling alive. It is risky, but we have to take risks don't we?

  6. Thanks Hedone. Yeah, it is risky- and for a long time, I didn't. But... it's sure worth it :)
